Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 5 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to The Tilted Barrel Bar & Grill, a trading name of RAM'S RESTAURANT LIMITED, registered in England and Wales under company number 13861227 ("we", "us" or "our").
By making a reservation, placing an order or using our website or services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Reservations
Reservations are subject to availability and are not confirmed until accepted by us.
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or amend a reservation. For large parties, private events or special bookings, we may require a deposit or apply a cancellation charge. Any applicable payment and cancellation terms will be explained before the booking is confirmed.
We may cancel or amend a reservation where reasonably necessary, including because of circumstances outside our control. Where we cancel a prepaid reservation, any amount paid for services not provided will be refunded.
2. Orders and Contract Formation
Menu items, prices and availability may change without notice. Images and descriptions are provided for general guidance, and presentation may vary.
Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. A contract is formed when we accept the order and provide confirmation or begin preparing it.
You are responsible for checking your order details, including collection or delivery information, before submitting the order. Please contact us immediately if you identify an error. Once food preparation has begun, we may be unable to amend or cancel the order.
3. Prices and Payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT or other applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Payment is due when requested and may be made using the payment methods displayed at the restaurant, on our website or through the relevant ordering platform.
We may correct genuine pricing or description errors before accepting an order. If payment has already been taken and we cannot fulfil the order at the correct price, we will offer the option to accept the corrected price or receive a refund.
4. Menu Availability and Substitutions
All products are subject to availability. We may substitute an unavailable ingredient or item only where the substitute does not materially change the order and does not introduce an undeclared allergen.
Where an appropriate substitution is unavailable, we may remove the affected item and issue a refund for it or contact you to agree an alternative.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Because restaurant meals and other perishable products are prepared to order, customers do not normally have a statutory 14-day cancellation right for these products.
If you wish to cancel an order, you should contact us immediately. We may accept the cancellation if preparation has not started. Once preparation has begun, cancellation or a full refund may not be possible.
This does not affect your statutory rights where food is faulty, unsafe, misdescribed or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method. Processing times may depend on the payment provider.
6. Collection Orders
Customers must collect their order from the agreed location within the stated collection period.
Collection times are estimates and may be affected by demand or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Please provide your order confirmation or other reasonable proof of purchase when collecting an order.
We are not responsible for deterioration caused by an unreasonable delay in collection.
7. Delivery Orders
Delivery availability, minimum order values, charges and estimated delivery times may depend on the delivery address and ordering platform.
You must provide a complete and accurate address, telephone number and any necessary access instructions. We are not responsible for failed or delayed delivery caused by incorrect information, restricted access or the customer being unavailable.
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Where an independent delivery platform or courier is used, its terms may also apply. Nothing in this section excludes responsibility that the law requires us to retain.
Please inspect your order promptly and contact us or the relevant delivery platform if anything is missing, incorrect or damaged.
8. Allergies and Dietary Requirements
If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please inform us before ordering. Do not rely solely on menu descriptions or symbols.
We provide allergen information in accordance with applicable food-information requirements. For online and telephone orders, allergen information should be obtained before completing the order and checked again when the food is received.
Our kitchen handles multiple allergens. Although we follow food-safety procedures and take reasonable precautions, accidental cross-contact may occur. We therefore cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from traces of a particular allergen.
Customers with serious allergies should speak directly with a member of staff before ordering. Dietary descriptions such as "vegetarian" or "vegan" do not necessarily mean that a product is free from specific allergens.
Current Food Standards Agency guidance requires allergen information for distance sales to be available both before purchase and when food is delivered.
9. Alcohol and Age-Restricted Products
Alcohol will not be sold or supplied to anyone under 18.
We may request valid photographic identification and refuse a sale or delivery where satisfactory evidence of age cannot be provided or where supplying alcohol would be unlawful.
We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to anyone who appears intoxicated or whose conduct creates a safety concern.
10. Customer Conduct
Customers must behave respectfully towards our staff, contractors and other guests.
We may refuse service, remove a person from the premises or cancel an order or reservation where reasonably necessary because of abusive, threatening, discriminatory, unlawful or seriously disruptive behaviour.
Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated areas, where applicable.
11. Website and Third-Party Services
We take reasonable steps to keep our website and ordering services available and accurate, but continuous or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.
We are not responsible for failures caused by third-party ordering platforms, payment providers, internet services or delivery providers. However, this does not exclude any legal responsibility we have for services supplied under our contract with you.
Links to external websites are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, security or privacy practices.
12. Personal Information
We use personal information to manage reservations, process orders, take payments, arrange delivery, respond to enquiries, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
Our processing does not rely solely on customer consent. Depending on the purpose, we may process information because it is necessary to perform a contract, comply with a legal obligation or pursue a legitimate interest. Further information is provided in our separate Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy identifies the information collected, purposes, lawful bases, recipients, retention periods and customer rights.
13. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of our website - including our branding, text, graphics, photographs, menus and design - is owned by or licensed to us.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
14. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- Breach of statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded; or
- Any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
We are responsible for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, for business losses suffered by a consumer, or for loss caused by inaccurate information provided by the customer.
15. Events Outside Our Control
We will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, transport disruption, utility failure, supply shortages, government restrictions or failure of essential third-party systems.
Where this significantly affects an accepted order, we will take reasonable steps to notify you and provide an appropriate remedy, which may include rescheduling, replacement or refund.
16. Complaints
If you experience a problem with a reservation, meal, order or delivery, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can investigate.
- Email: [email protected]
- Telephone: 0121 493 4907
Nothing in this complaints process affects your statutory rights.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be published on our website with a new "Last updated" date.
The terms in force when an order or reservation is accepted will normally apply to that transaction.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions, and the relationship between you and us (whether contractual or otherwise), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law in your country of residence. Nothing in the above clause takes away or reduces your rights as a consumer to rely on those provisions.
Any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim between you and us relating to these Terms and Conditions, or the relationship between you and us (whether contractual or otherwise), shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, as determined by your residency.
